Preparation & administration
Shelf life and storage
Also known as: storage · stability
How long a peptide remains within specification under defined storage conditions.
In plain terms
Lyophilised powder, frozen, is the most stable state. Reconstituted solution, refrigerated, is far less so, and the stated windows vary by peptide. Light, heat, freeze-thaw cycles, and agitation all degrade peptides, and none of them change the appearance of the vial.
