Pulsatile release
Also known as: gh pulse · pulsatility
The body releases growth hormone in bursts, mostly at night, rather than at a constant level.
In plain terms
Pulsatility appears to matter biologically: a continuous elevation produces different tissue responses from the same total amount delivered in pulses. Preserving that rhythm is the central argument for secretagogues over exogenous growth hormone.
