Peptide bioregulator
Also known as: bioregulators · khavinson peptides
Very short peptides, often two to four amino acids, claimed to regulate gene expression in specific tissues.
In plain terms
The bioregulator concept originates largely from a single Russian research programme, and the supporting literature is sparse, mostly published in a narrow set of journals, and rarely independently replicated. Epitalon is the best-known example.
This is a case where the honest evidence rating is low, and where the volume of confident online writing vastly exceeds the volume of trials.
