Sulfur burps

Also known as: egg burps

Foul, sulphurous belching commonly reported on GLP-1 drugs, attributed to delayed gastric emptying.

In plain terms

Food sitting longer in a slowed stomach ferments. The result is widely reported and rarely dangerous — but persistent vomiting, severe abdominal pain, or an inability to keep fluids down are different, and warrant a clinician rather than a forum.
